Corrosion is a natural process of deterioration of metallic materials caused by chemical reactions with their environment. This deterioration can be caused by different factors: water, humidity, oxygen, chemicals or even temperature variations.
Kanartic heat pumps have undergone numerous tests and benefit from an anti-corrosion treatment: on the housing of the outdoor unit, the interior metal parts and the printed circuit board have been protected by a three-layer anti-rust treatment. In addition, the internal piping is covered with gold plating to prevent corrosion in the long term.
